Welcome to my twelfth lifestyle report where I share my income, personal expenses, fitness, productivity, social media and blog statistics. Check out my first lifestyle report to find out why I started documenting my life. Here’s the July’s report.
August was the warmest month of the whole summer and I had 18 meetings catching up with friends, cool people and family. I went to the stand-up comedy show and watched Lithuanian national basketball team lose a friendly match against Spain by one point.
I survived an hour long wisdom teeth surgery where I got all four wisdom teeth removed. Recovery wasn’t that pleasant including a week of antibiotics. By the end of the month, I got my second vaccine for hepatitis A and B.
In between the meetings and events, I was quietly working on my book, recorded three guest podcasts and shared my morning routine on GamePlan A by adidas.
On August 29th I flew to Copenhagen and organized first my Coffee Chat before traveling to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria where I’ll stay until September 25th before hopping on the Nomad Cruise.
Last month I made $1,168.77 after all the business expenses and taxes. Check the full breakdown below.
August was the most expensive month so far, totaling $4,237.28 in personal expenses. More than half of that was paid to secure 6 months of accommodation with WiFi Tribe. My surgery, drugs and vaccines totaled $568.32. Finally, every month, one of the biggest expense is food. Check all the details below.
Sleep & fitness
Due to my surgery, I had to take a week long break from any physical activities. After the recovery, I went running for seven times. My diet was filled with lots of various junk and fat food. I was telling myself it is fine to have some pizza and traditional Lithuanian food because I’ll be off for nearly a year. Good excuse.
August was filled with meetings and events but I was able to work on my book and write over 30,000 words. As you will see from the report below I also spent a lot of time on entertainment and social media. I’m particularly not happy with the time spent on social media as it doesn’t create any long-term value.
To track my time I use RescueTime, an app that tracks everything you do and gives you a productivity score. I know I’m not a machine and I consider it a good day if my productivity pulse is over 55.
Social media and blog stats
Last month I partnered up with InstaGrowth, a monthly organic Instagram marketing service for businesses, influencers and brands. So far I love what they’re doing with my Instagram. Here are more stats from August.
