Hey there! 👋🏼
Thank you so much for visiting my digital home.

10 Second Bio
I’m from 🇱🇹 Lithuania.

I studied in 🇩🇰 Denmark.
My favorite book is “Sapiens” by Yuval Noah Harari.
My 3 superpowers are self-discipline, writing and learning fast.

My daily habits include waking up early, intermittent fasting, meditation, reading, writing, lifting weights and tracking my finances.
I buy way too many books than I can read.
I often get lost on the internet reading interesting blogs.
I’ve written an ebook, created a course, built a design magazine with over 1 million annual readers, co-founded a content marketing agency, published in Forbes, TIME, Fast Company, HuffPost, The Next Web and many more publications.
Why This Blog Exists?
Mainly for three reasons.
✍️ I like to have a creative outlet without any boundaries.
Even though it’s cool to make money from writing and sharing my work but that’s the byproduct. I want to be free of financial, political and social pressure and express myself on the topics that matter to me. It’s my intrinsic motivation to write and get better at it without expecting to get anything in return.
Writing helps me to organize my mind and make sense of what I’m thinking. I find writing therapeutic and creating in public a humbling experience.
👨🎤 I wouldn’t be where I'm today if it wasn’t for creators.
I’m here because of all the writers, bloggers, artists, designers, teachers, developers, scientists, entrepreneurs, philosophers, and many people I can’t possibly name that my life and work is based upon. This website is my way of paying it forward and sharing the ideas, best practices, and tools to live better.
🎤 Writing is my online microphone.
It allows me to build an audience, authority and connect with really awesome people. Combine all of these and you get job opportunities, collaborations and in fortunate cases lifetime friends.

If you're completely new to my writing, here are some pieces I recommend you to start with.
I read a lot. Over the last 3 years, I read more than 100 books. It has changed my life. I used to read little in school. Once I discovered the business and self-help genre I started devouring books. It’s incredible how one book can change your perspective on life.
The experimentation has led me to discover and acquire habits of successful people that I’d like to share in this article. Most of these habits are not actually mine but I have ‘stolen’ them from ultra-successful people.
Ironically, self-discipline is the ultimate freedom. Waking up early, making up your bed, brushing your teeth, and eating healthy breakfast can transform your whole day. By adding in reading, journaling, and meditation, you can supercharge your growth and allow yourself to become a more loving person. You may also find that you become a harder-working employee, a more trustworthy friend, a passionate lover, and an overall interesting person. Self-discipline and consistency pay little dividends but they compound quickly making a big impact in your life.
The key is trying different things and seeing what excites you. Only after getting into the business academy I found out it’s not for me. I decided not to study anymore. As a part of the academy program, I had to get myself an internship. I got in the digital agency in London and I was happy but only to find out that 9-5 job is not for me.
Spoiler alert. If you’re looking for the meaning of life, happiness isn’t the answer. Purpose is. Many people don’t undertake a challenge meant to improve their lives because they don’t have a purpose that makes their existence meaningful. Happiness, after all, is a result of leading a meaningful life and it’s not necessarily as prominent as curing cancer or ending poverty.
The first time I heard about Vipassana meditation was back in 2014 when my friend and business partner Prean decided to take a break in a hectic startup world and realign his values and vision for life. I have never been that much into meditation and taking 10 days course seemed like a strange thing. It felt like it’s highly connected with religion and as I'm not particularly religious I thought it may not be for me, however, after reading numerous of articles about successful people and their routines I have noticed that they practice mindfulness and meditate daily.
Here are four beliefs to help you navigate through down times and moments of self-doubt.
- No one knows what they're doing.
- No one cares as much as you think they do.
- You don’t have to have all the answers.
- Do what you can, with what you have, where you're.
I’d like to emphasize one thing, it’s not about the apps, it’s about your results, personal preference, and efficiency. If you work best with a pen and paper, there is no need to try and adopt a digital tool that doesn’t feel right for you, just because your peers or someone you admire uses one or the other tool you shouldn’t force yourself to use it just to be cool.
